Harmony: Huawei’s new operating system in June

Huawei Technologies has announced that it will launch its new smartphone operating system, “Harmony”, on June 2; in the biggest move it has made so far to recover from the damage caused by US sanctions on its mobile sector. As Reuters notes, using its own operating system will mean it is no longer dependent on Android.
